We are planning to go to Hershey Park, but the day we are looking at is the same day as the Springsteen concert. Would it make the park more crowded or would there really be no difference? Is the concert venue totally seperate from the park?

The concert is at the stadium, which is a separate "entity" (building) than the park. When you come from the parking lot, you pass by the stadium on your way into the park. We went to see Billy Joel last month, and had no problems, as they are two different venues, though close to each other.

The concert is supposed to start at 7:30 PM, but make that 8 PM, LOL, before they start singing. If you get to the park before, say, 6 PM, you should just be dealing with the normal hellish HersheyPark traffic. Don't forget it's $10 to park your car.

When are you leaving the park? Not sure when it closes, but since their parking lot covers a space the size of Denmark, it took about an hour for us to get out of it- and that was after Billy Joel, @ 11:30 PM! Have the kiddos go to the bathroom before you leave, LOL, b/c you might have a wait to get out.

Other than that, I did not see the concertgoers interferring with the park folks. You should be fine.

Have fun!!!!

Thanks. We would definitely be there well before the concert crowd shows. Probably around lunch time or so (driving from and back to VA making a day trip out of it). We are hoping that a weekday will be less crowded than a weekend anyhow.
