Will this inequitable land-lease arrangement for manufactured housing communities ever be a thing of the past? What a HORRIBLE deal! Does anyone happen to know of any communities where one can actually own the land their home is sitting on in the Lancaster County area? Can't seem to find ANY!

If you could find that lot, it would cost too much for you to consider.

Default I couldn't find any in PA

There is one resident owned community listed in Delaware called, Minquadale Mobile Home Village. That is the closest one to PA that I found, but there could be others that are just not listed. Your state housing authority might know.

You coud also just by a lot and put it on land you own, just make sure the zoning in the area allows manufactured homes. You will need, at the very least to provide a permanent foundation, and you will likely have to pay to bring utilities to the site.
