I am relocating to Harrisburg and am most interested in these two buildings because I want secure garage parking connected to my home in midtown/downtown. I have not found many reviews for 1500 Condominium. If anyone who has been in the building can comment that would be great...sounds like it's at least a couple hundred a month more expensive and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it.

It is a newer/modern-style building, close in proximity to the riverfront park and Midtown amenities. Also, it is not too far from downtown and the Capital Complex if you are willing to hike it a little. I think 1500 was one of the buildings developed by Vartan Group, a local real-estate development company. It is located across the street from the site selected for the new Federal courthouse project. Sorry I don't really know much more than the basic general public knowledge. Good luck!

I visited both buildings so I will comment for posterity. Everything is very new in 1500 Condominium as it was built I think in the past 4 years. Because it is a condo every unit has slightly different layout with very different kitchen cabinetry and finishes so you really must see a unit in person to decide. Almost all units have personal outdoor space in addition to community roofdeck. The renovated units at Executive house, which are a relatively small minority of the units in that building, are about 6 years out from their renovation and have nice finishes that are more standardized although layouts do vary somewhat.

The 1500 units are a lot nicer than the renovated units at Executive House in terms of size. 1500 units don't have carpeting. The renovated Executive House units (unlike the older unrenovated ones) don't have outdoor space but the immediate neighborhood is a lot worse around 1500. The lot across the street is under construction for the next 2 years, there are 3 condemned buildings right next door, and it doesn't seem like there's a lot of foot traffic in immediate vicinity. Executive House is in the center of downtown right across from the main hospital. They both seem like secure buildings with secure entry and attached parking garages.
