The wife and I want to take an overnight to Lancaster to celebrate our 38th anniversary. I know restaurants are allowed to open back up on Friday with limited seating but is visiting the area even advisable right now? Not talking about becoming infected with this Covid-19, not that this isn't important, but will things be open where we can sightsee a little?

Bigfoot is over here

Lincoln Highway, where all the outlets, stores etc was bustling today.

A few other options:

President Buchanan's home (not open yet, possibly soon)

Central Market

Rooftop Lunch or Dinner
Annie Bailey's Irish Public House | Downtown Lancaster, PA

If you decide to make it over to Hershey this is a nice place.

We did our trip this weekend and enjoyed it. We did Central Market and rode around looking at the beautiful countryside. Ate dinner in a Treehouse at Loxley's and visited downtown. Neither of us are city lovers and we did not enjoy this visit. (Downtown that is) We plan on coming back when Sight and Sound reopens and we still want to see more of the area.
