Hello! I am trying to sell my town home in Harrisburg pa. It has been for sale since May. I know we have an awful market but how can I get in touch with people looking to buy a town home in Harrisburg Pa. My realtor is showing my home but no bids are coming in. I know everyone will say there home is the best but mine is only 2 yrs old and very well taken care of. So does anyone have any ideas for me?

Is your home properly staged? By "staging," I mean is your home decluttered? Are there nice little touches here and there like perhaps some flowers in vases, a bowl of fruit on the kitchen table, etc. to help give your townhome a cozier feel and a less sterile one? Hosting an open house and having baked goods accompanied with milk, lemonade, coffee, or tea never hurts either. The happier people are, the more likely they will be to buy, and the more full their tummies are, the more likely they will be to be happy.

I am telling you to get this property on as many web sites as possible. I post listings on as many as twenty plus Craig's list. Buyers are on line looking before they even step out the door. You need nice sharp pictures and tons of info posted. My last few sales where form people out of state looking to mover here. they found the property on line and contacted me. Talk to your Realtor and make sure they are exposing your property on line.

Also try running ads in the local paper .. Your Realtor I mean. I get lots of calls from people asking questions just from posting in the local free paper... Flyer's in laundry mats and stores where first time buyers would go helps as well.... Get the listing out there....Anywhere..
