My dad lives in Harrisburg, PA, and I am driving from the DC area to see him this weekend. Any suggestions for a good place for Sunday brunch in the Harrisburg area? The expense is not a huge issue, but I'd also rather not pay $35/person.

Thanks!

There is a Father's Day Brunch at Spring Garden Conference Center. Great food and under $30 per person. www.commonwealthcaterers.com 717-939-4003

In a way. If you want a clue to what the day truly honors (being the Sunday closest to the Summer Solstice -- June 21/22 -- and 5-6 weeks after Mother's Day, another misunderstood holiday) rent THE WICKER MAN. Not the silly remake, the original.

I saw that Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat is doing a Father's Day Brunch, but it's probably expensive. Other popular brunch spots in the area are Char's Bella Mundo (Shipoke, Harrisburg) and 2201 in the Boro (Camp Hill).
