I have looked at some places to live in this area, the "new" row homes. Any comments or thoughts on this neighborhood?

I know a few people who live there and haven't heard many complaints. It's a bit too "sterile" for my tastes and a bit longer of a walk to downtown. It's affordable however, and many come with tax abatements.

I agree with the "sterile" comment, but my husband is now wavering on 'burbs vs downtown....so these seemed like a good mix of the two.

It's certainly not bad and the tax rates make it cheaper then living in the suburbs. I just prefer the architecture of the historic section.

The good news is the unfinished lots are going to get built after all. GreenWorks LLC, the developer who is building all around midtown announced they are buying the project from the former owner who stopped building.
