when i went down there and talked to a person .the number i got the complete diff from the one from the email .. the basic cost of moveing everthing there is the area of $.24,580.oo dollars so far..

so iam thinking about calling a abu and other companys to see what there quotes are for the same items i want to send to the island

You should get a firm estimate in writing. Also you might consider reducing the amount of household items you are shipping.

Matson & Pasha are the only two that can handle the deck cargo.

Matson - containers (your or theirs), vehicles (now inside), deck cargo (on deck)
Pasha - vehicles (inside), deck cargo (inside)
Horizon - containers (yours or theirs) vehicles (in containers), deck cargo (but has to fit in a container)
All others - can't pickup in USA and drop in Hawaii but can pickup in Canada or Mexico and drop in Hawaii.

I totally agree with Ellewood...you might want to consider downsizing. You'll be amazed at how much you really use once you're there, not to mention how much you won't be able to fit unless you get a rather large home. Everything will end up in storage rather than at your residence. You can always get furniture and many other items to refurnish your home thru craigslist or freecycle.org. It'll save you money in the long run. Good luck!
