If you're new to Hawaii and trying to start a business, there are no paper pushers, they're more like paper sitters. No one in the gov over here wants to make the call on anything, it's pass the buck and see where it stops. Kind of funny/tragic, the downhill bike companies that go from Haleakala down to Paia have had three, count em, that's three, fatal accidents in the past year. Haleakala National Park, not the local government, has shut them down for sixty days, and is reveiwing their operations. State and county was looking the other way because they get 4% in gross exise tax from the downhill bike companies. Pretty disgusting.
Now, where's that Guiness???????

Aloha

Is that true in California with all of thier environmental laws?

If it is, then I guess you could be right.

I have to do something there as I'm only 46 years old and my wife is 44 and after all these years of working 14 hour days 6 & 7 days a week it will be hard to just sit and do nothing. I am always kidding with my wife that we can become greeters at Walmart!

I really wanted to do something that would help the people there and maybe assist ones trying to get there. But your right that with the taxing they have in place the Gov would take most any profit you would make.

I am going back in March to find a house and an island I guess go from there.
