Are Native Hawaiians willing to teach their culture and religious practices to whites? Many Native Americans consider teaching whites to be "stealing" their religion (as opposed to the Christian notion of "converting.") I am not a Christian and I believe in honoring the spirits of a place in the manner practiced by the natives of the place.

I've never met a Hawaiian unwilling to teach their cultural history to anyone of any race.
