One more thing it's best to go directly to the source. NOAA has a site dedicated to monitoring the debris. If you double click on the video, you can go full screen and watch the report. The voice behind the video isn't strong, but the transcript appears at the bottom of the screen. There have been many sightings of debris, but not all has been identified as coming from the Japan Tsunami. Some debris comes from ships that just dump into the ocean like it's their trash can. So far, it has caused prices to increase quite a bit.

It is simply crazy right now - here is a good article - and the first sentence of the article "Unless you’ve been living under a rock, instead of on the rock, you’ve heard that home prices are rising—fast". It talks of Mililani millionaires in 10 years.

Yeah, I actually knew that. When I was in Maui in July, I was amazed at how much prices had climbed. Not 10 or 20% either. In a couple of years, average prices appeared to have doubled at resorts. Now I am thinking I will rent for a while (maybe 6 months) when I get there and take some time to learn, and hopefully make an informed decision. I would really like an ocean view, but am willing to settle for a pool view, across the street, if I must.

I think I would be more worried about the insanely high COL or even Vog over this.

Yeah, it concerns me a lot, too... that this looney conspiracy theory alarmist gets people to believe her nonsense. She makes her living scaring gullible people. Ooogie boogie scary scary!!

I mean, seriously... the Fukashima disaster was deliberately caused by an earthquake weapon as part of a plan to depopulate the earth?! How preposterous a fantasy are you willing to swallow?

As my momma used to say, "Consider the source!" And as my daddy used to say, "Just because it's on the interwebs doesn't mean it's true." And as my sister used to say, "Doesn't anybody ever fact check anything?" And as my brother says, "How can anybody believe this s***?" And as my uncle always says, "I have nothing up my sleeve. No really!"

Meanwhile, I just want to say "Okole maluna!"
