Do whatever you like! If someone does not like it, too bad. They can move. You are an American (I think) and even it you are not an American, you can go live where you want. Don't let those Terrorist of Hawaii keep you stuck where ever you don't want to live! I love Hawaii and believe me, they need you and your money there!

I am extremely disappointed in this thread.
Two pages in and Jungjohann has yet to show up with a cannibal reference

What has this site come to

Yes, we hate White people! Oh, wait...now I have to tell my Hubby of almost 30 years and my boys & grandchildren that I hate them and I never want to see them again.

Oh, wait...I am blind so I do not see them now. I guess that means we can stay a family since I do not have to see their inherent "whiteness". Whew, that was close!

This begs the question, what does Spam taste like?

Seriously OP all joking aside? Read Hawaii history / historical events like the overthrow of the manarchy, the plantation years, interment camps of the japanese during WW2 in Hawaii and the Massie Trial just to name a few to findout who you really need to be afraid of. There are truly very few fullblooded native hawaiians left.

Everywhere you go there will be a few racists who won't like you for your skin color. But to be honest most locals or native hawaiians won't hate you for your skin color, it will be about ones attitudes and perceived actions that will be on trial but even a bigger population will just greet you with aloha intil such time you prove otherwise. The key to really knowing what Hawaii and her people are about is to read her history and follow the culture. Enough said. Aloha

Some will. Sure. Racists are racists. This is from my many years of personal experience w/ this in Hawaii. O'ahu was the worst, especially the North Shore! I took the bus into town every day when I lived there (not a lot to do on the North Shore unless you surf every day), and every time I was on that bus there was a confrontation started by the locals and directed at some haole. Every.... single.... day. After 3 weeks I said this is nuts and moved back to California. Lost a lot of money on my rental deposit, but it was worth it.

Before this, I had lived over 10 years on the Big Island, and while it was an infrequent occurrence there, especially on the Kona side, it was nothing like O'ahu.
