I'm a big city person, and was wondering if Honolulu feels like a big city...To expand on that, if Honolulu would suffice a person who enjoy a big city.
* big city in this contest is a city with a metro population of over 500k

What kinds of things do you enjoy in a big city? Shopping? Museums? Art? Restaurants? Bars?

Do you want a New York City kind of big city feel or a more international kind of feel?

Honolulu just feels like a large town or a small city to me. But in full disclosure, I spent a good amount of time either in DC (school) and NYC to visit friends and family a few time a year, so those are the only two places I can compare it to.

Honolulu is technically the only city in the entire state. Whatever adjective you choose to describe it (small, medium, large, etc).... it's the only city Hawaii has.
