I didn't know that Hawaii has such a huge cesspool problem. Not surprised that the bulk of them are found on the Big Island, though, based on what I hear about how many "live off the land" there.

I've never actually been swimming at the Chocolates beach on Oahu, though I've driven by the area.

Bulk of them, though probably not the bulk of their adverse impacts.

None of the beaches mentioned are on the Big Island. Furthermore:

"..The report identifies four priority categories. Priority 1 are areas where cesspools present a Significant Risk of Human Impacts, Drinking Water Impacts, or Draining to Sensitive Waters.
