your weather sounds like what we have up here at the 2400-2500 ft. elevation on the big island. it's somewhere in the 70's at the moment--has been nearly all day with the sun shining. a few clouds but nothing in the form rain, YET. it's cooler at night to early morning dipping into the 50's. generally, we are 10 degrees cooler than downtown hilo and 3-4 degrees warmer than the volcano community.

Hey, cats, your 61 in Fargo sounds warm. Here in Denver we were at a high of 51 and a few short miles away (and a couple thousand feet in elevation) in the foothills in Conifer, they got 10 inches of SNOW! The ski area are starting to make their snow base in anticipation of an early opening this winter.

It's a sunny 78 degrees where I am on Oahu. It's beautiful outside but alas I'm stuck in an office for most of the day.

just thought i'd share with you all that we got 6 inches of snow over night. with another inch or two still to come today. then it's gona be about 5 degrees outside with ridiculous winds out of the north. so a horrible wind chill & blowing snow. it took me an entire hour to get to work, 16 miles from my house. normally a 20-25 min drive tops. my move to hawaii seems so far away on days like this :0(
