I'm quessing most live here, and beg to get out. I cry everyday to leave here. Not all people but some are so JEALOUS here. They hate mainlanders especially if your not darked skin. It's a mans play ground here, and most men love living here. For some women it's hard if your family doesn't live here. If they do it will help. I had the worst few days here of my life, and I told my husband he better get me out of here, or else. I mean every word of it.
Many Examples, but here is only one. I Went to order a sandwich today, and waited for 20 mins. to get it. Finally, I went to the counter to ask where is my sandwich? The deli gal said, ah I don't have your order? She wrote it down 20mins. ago. They play stupid and get away with it all......So, I got my money back. The people stick together, and will eat many white people up. They hate and are very JEALOUS PEOPLE. Of course, Not all of the people are cruel, but so many have issues with anyone that's not of there own?? You will meet many kind people, but you will have to become them. Sandles, pony tail, and feeling like yuck. Yes, we create everything, attitudes, ect, ect. But BEWARE....please do your homework, and go in with your eyes wide open. Living here is not the same as the MAINLAND, where I will NEVER LEAVE AGAIN~~~ Most, many.......go back home. The beauty will suck you in, and spit us out here. Sorry it's the truth. You won't get customer service usually. You won't get much here. Ok, I'm done just hear me. Some love it like my husband. I HATE LIVING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm reminded of the expat forums for Australia where some Americans like to claim that Australians are all jealous of them and that is why their experience in Aus sucks.. what they would possibly have to be jealous of I have no idea having lived in both countries.
They are not jealous of you. If someone is rude to you it is because they are a rude person by nature or having a bad day or just too distracted to make nice as expected in customer service. OR, just possibly, you... them off in some way so they are paying you back. It could be any of these things but I assure you they are not jealous of you, a complete stranger.

Seriously, I don't mean to be mean, but you're either using the word "jealous" incorrectly or it sounds like the locals have good reason to dislike you.

Okay so new question, If Hawaii is not a good idea, where would be a good place for us to check out? We would like sun, sand, surf (near by at least-within an hour) easy-going chill people, consutruction work , afforadable housing/renting and moderate schooling Oh and not a city...we prefer less people!

Construction work is just bad everywhere. Throughout the entire nation there are way too many newly built houses sitting on the market.
I really can't think of one city anywhere in the U.S. where they are building houses like mad and have a need for construction workers.
If I were to even think of a list, Oahu Island would be at the very bottom though.
