We started with the thought of moving to Kauai but quickly fell in love with Maui but realized it was our inner yuppie that was in love with Maui (giggle). It took some dear friends of ours to show us what was on the Big Island we came back and they asked us some questions and then asked " So which Island picked you?" and this is what I believe today is that the Islands will pick the ones that they want not the other way around. I say this with conviction and see the people that arenʻt happy with their move and think that maybe they rushed their choice of are still looking for their Island.

We were thinking Kauai until the realization of super high housing costs, the extreme smallness of the island and lack of dramatically different climates made us go back and re-examine the Big Island. I am glad we did.
