Hello,
I am sponsoring my mom who will be coming from another country to live with us here in US. She is coming in October. She is 76 years old. I am researching all options available for Her in terms of obtaining health insurance. Has anybody had similar experience and what options did you end up with? She won't be eligible for Medicare and she won't have any income. Any information you could provide would be very helpful. Thank you!

You can expect the premium to be around 7-10K a year, Plus co/pay & deductables , Max Expense cap of ~100K,
And no coverage for pre-extenting conditions.

I heard premiums offer but read the policy first before getting one.

If Mom is a "Lawfully present immigrant" then investigate to see if she qualifies for insurance under the provisions of "ACA/Obamacare" at https://www.healthcare.gov/immigrants/
