I joined AARP so I could buy United Health Care's Medigap Plan G.

Does anyone know offhand if I have to belong to AARP to continue getting the UNH Plan G every year?

No. Whatever discounts are offered when you first purchase the policy, continue with the renewals. AARP membership not required beyond the first year.

If AARP is dropped and the person later decides to change Medigap plan letters (downgrade from F to N), UHC may require the person to join AARP again for one year.
