Has anyone used out of the country meds. My dh and I are on some meds ; pristiq and androgel. Both are at least $100 cheaper if we mail order them.

That and yes we DO have insurance. He just paid almost $300 for a 30 day supply. I paid almost $400 for a 90 day supply. We have an annual deductible before the ins will cover anything of $4500. Once we hit that, they cover 100%.

Just wondering about the pharmacies outside the country

Kinda tough to say really, most drugs are imported anyway but they have to come through FDA regulated supply system. These same (or maybe not) drugs that come through the net have no such control for quality, purity or dosage. To much like russian roulette in my book.

I live by Canada. Many friends who are American and have vacation homes across the border get their local MD to give them the name of a Canadian GP who will rewrite their US RX and then they can but them cheaper there. It works at a "safe" local pharmacy if you know where you are buying.

Drugs by mail is a dangerous option. You don't know if they are past their 'use by" date, have been kept at the right temperature, or if they are in fact counterfit meds.
