Is there a link between PCOS/insulin resistance and excessive sweating?

I can't find much on this, but I've noticed that for a 30 year old female, I have a lot of hot flashes! Like constantly. The bedroom has to be ice cold or I sweat. If I exert myself unloading the dishwasher, I sweat. Granted, it's been summer here in Georgia, but my mother noticed I definitely sweat more than other people. I'm overweight but not obese, maybe that's it? I still sweat more than others, I feel like. I don't know, anyone know about hormones?

Cyster here, and yes, sweaty. If you want more in-depth info, try SoulCysters. It's a PCOS-specific site, with links to studies and you can ask questions there if you don't find your answers.

I am insulin resistant and normal weight and I sweat like there is no tomorrow. Then again, I always have. When exercising vigorously, I make sure to have a towel in the immediate vicinity.

Those w PCOD tend to have higher testosterone levels. This can cause "above average" sweating.
