Are you young? You must be young. Are you young? Well anyway, youth aside, I'm gonna hit ya with my best advise(gonna fire away).

Scratch the tan. Sure, this may not be what ya wanna hear, but here goes anyway!

Whether it's attained from the beach or "bed", a tan is bad news for you.

The uv radiation from beds can lead to wrinkles, lax skin, brown spots, and more. As well as skin cancer.

New study....Indoor tanners are 74% more likely to develope melanoma than those who have never tanned indoors. Try a sunless tanning lotion or spray. And enjoy Hawaii. Me and my wife sure did!

I sure hope you find few people in a HEALTH forum giving you advice on how to tan!

Skip the tanning beds. Buy a sunless tanner to get a tanned look. And use Neutrogena Sunscreen with 100 spf to protect your skin while you're on vacation.

My goodness, you're from Alaska of all places. You shouldn't be into tanning. And it only takes ONE bad burn to develop skin cancer in later years.

I wish I had never gotten tans when I was young. Just use a safe tanner from a bottle or something. Stay safe, it always gets you later, years later.

This is so true! We've been seeing a big increase in the number of young patients with metastatic melanoma in recent months. Please avoid tanning salons and go with a spray on version.

You are really going to regret the tanning. It will make you more likely to get melanoma and your skin will look like leather by the time you are 30. You should have posted this in fashion and beauty.

I watched a BBC documentary recently on the subject and I agree with everybody's advice - skip the tanning bed.
Enjoy Hawaii
