Is there a difference in ones prescription adjustment in glasses vs contacts? Or should they be the same like 2.75 in glasses and 2.75 in contacts.

yes, there is a difference in prescription based on how powerful your prescription is and the distance your glasses rest on your face from your eyes. also some people's eyes are more sensitive to minor changes in power than others'. if you're planning on getting contacts after having used glasses, or vice versa, you should get your eyes checked to make sure you have the most accurate prescription possible for the type of corrective lens you're using.

I think the contacts are slightly less powered than the glasses. Otherwise everything else (cylinder, axis) remains the same.
