I took Lyrica for fibromyalgia. It made me sleep 22 hours a day. If it makes you tired try something else.

My husband took Lyrica for shingles and was able to work.

I'm glad it worked for your husband. It only helped my pain about 10% and I decided I'd rather have 100% pain and a bit of fatigue than 90% pain and severe fatigue.
