Not yet. I'm exhausted by 8 PM, so I try to keep myself up later to help reset my internal clock. It hasn't worked yet - I'm up at 6 usually. So frustrating.
No, it hasn't. I think the whole concept is bassackwards. The days get shorter as it is and we nudge it even further to the tune of one hour.
You wake up at the same "time" you normally do and you've already missed an hour of sunlight and when you come home from work, it's already 1 hour darker than it would have been.
What is the thinking behind this stupid time change? I guess we need not ask Arizona.
Well first you must remember that we are on Standard Time now...which means that when the sun rises and sets is when its really supposed to. I'm not worried about resetting my internal clock cause other than to get kids up for school it doesn't matter in my life right now. But I want to tell you that my cat is terribly confused by the change even through last night. He's ready for bed at 10 now instead of 11. I had thought by now he'd get it straightened out after all he can sleep all day if he wants. Hopefully by next week he'll be back to begging to stay up late again.
Good point. Then I'd rather we stay on Daylight Savings time or take away "daylight savings" in the spring and go the other way... spring ahead in the Fall and fall back in the spring... or something.
I would go along with that McGowdog one way or another just not sure which way would be the best to get us more daylight during the long, short days of winter
Luckilly, no adjustment needed. Good to go, so I will.
