Doctors in Berlin, working with an American patient with both HIV and leukemia, have declared in a peer-reviewed journal that they believe they have cured both illnesses. It would be the first time an HIV patient has been cured.

Yeah, the other thread got bombarded with inaccuracies, though. Things like "Well it was in 2008 so they were adult stem cells!"

I didn't read the entire thread, but it seems that nobody brought up the fact that because this was done in Germany, they were using embryonic stem cells.

They consider it "life" when its in a petri dish, but a bunch of twenty something Muslim males standing on a street corner are fair game to kill, as they are "terrorists"

Sick people. I certainly hope doctors have cured this but am highly skeptical. It is only one patient

Awesome, good news for everyone. Its amazing to live in a time like this for our health. We've gotten to the point where what we have to worry about is eating to much, and living long enough to feel the consequences.
