When I was in the ER over the weekend, I had two nitroglycerin pills.
Within seconds of taking the very first one, my face felt intense pressure and my eyes felt like they were being pushed out of my head.
It has been 5 days and my eyes still hurt.
Has anyone ever experienced this?
I can't find any info about this being a side effect of nitroglycerin.

Headaches are a side effect. In the ER they usually give a moraphine push or some other pain killer. Ask your doctor about it so he can proescribe something. I know you can't take any NSAIDS.

you should seek physician advice promptly. as well as causing headaches due to a reduction in blood pressure, nitrates should not be given to people with closed angle glaucoma, and can even trigger symptoms of closed angle glaucoma in undiagnosed individuals.
if this is your issue, then it is a medical emergency.
there are other possibilities apart from "regular" nitrate induced headache and glaucoma - nitrates can also trigger migrane-type symptoms, which, while unpleasant, would be far less concerning than glaucoma.
get checked out. 5 days of eye serious eye symptoms is far too long to go without physician input.

Thanks! I have an appointment with an ophthalmologist in an hour.
I complained about it while I was in the hospital, and I mentioned it to the physician in my follow up appointment.
Nobody looked at my eyes. Nobody commented on my complaint that they hurt.
Fortunately, the ophthalmologist scheduled me immediately when I called just now.

My eyes are fine. He thinks it's sinus pain due to the dry weather. Anyways, I'm glad I had it checked out. Thanks for posting!

Yes, he did. He said it was 10. He said that was very good.
He also explained to me why a previous doctor told me years ago that I was at risk for glaucoma. I can't use the same words he used to describe it but this is how I understood it. A 'donut' in the back of my eye has a large center. He said with glaucoma, the hole gets bigger and wears away the actual 'donut' part (which I assume is nerve of some sort). He said that my 'donut' part was a very nice thickness and my having a larger 'hole' isn't a result of wearing down the 'donut' part and is just the way my eyes are naturally. I think that's what he meant. LOL
