Well, initially I felt sad, and very sorry for him. Then I re-read it, and became, frankly, angry and disgusted, and now I just feel sorry for his parents and that he was too young and too stupid to know any better.

What a creep you are...you're a MOM? Hmmm. The guy is dead, and obviously died in a tremendous amount of pain. I can't judge- neither him nor his parents. It's a terrible situation, and I pray for that whole family.

The guy just was not angry enough. Anger keeps you alive and kicking. He drowned himself in normalcy and never released his demons. My philosophy is that you gotta let it all out and channel your anger toward something other than yourself, rather than giving up. I would never let my abusers have the satisfaction of screwing me over.
Sad story.

Wow...
I always find it interesting to know what people are honestly thinking...
I have known quite a few people who have confided in me that they had been molested as children...
And while I cannot relate to the pain & sufferring that molestation causes, I can relate to many of his emotions - which make him human; which makes him a part of me, and all of you.
Those of you casting judgement are only judging yourselves, because we are all connected; we are the same.
R.I.P.

I think this young man was a very profound individual, and it's such a shame that he had to endure the hell he was put through as a child. It's very sad indeed that he couldn't overcome the damage that he suffered, and saw this as his only release.....very, very sad.

While I don't really get into religion much, this is really heavy on my mind.
"Am I my brother's keeper?”
'Cain's words have come to symbolize people's unwillingness to accept responsibility for the welfare of their fellows — their “brothers” in the extended sense of the term. The tradition of Judaism and Christianity is that people do have this responsibility.'
It is things like, this particular suicide (in this case), that remind us that things could have and should have not come to this. We often do not realize the effect we have on those around us, and that is truly a shame...We have lost alot of good people by simple acts of negligence and a lack of compassion.
Hindsight is always 20/20, but why not at least try to put a little focus on Foresight...

Anger is why people kill themselves. He had way to much of it. I think his note was an exercise in that anger and not necessarily a true account of his miseries. I suppose it could be true, but probably just his last stab in the back for his family.
