Bone Grafting of Tibula and Fibula (ankle, healing, scan, hip)

Hi, I was in a Motorcycle Accident in July 2010, shattered the Right tib/fib and ankle/ its been 6 mo. and had ct scan done the other day only to find that its still not healing, so now Dr.s are going to do a bone graft from the hip to tib/fib just seeing if any one had been threw this for advice please thanks
