Myself I never did learn First Aid.

Tucson News, WHEN the shooting rampage happened here, I was on the other side of town. But it occurred to me afterward that even if I had been at the horrific scene outside that Safeway supermarket, I would have been of no help whatsoever.

For me taking basic first aid and being CPR certified went hand in hand with becoming a responsible adult and member of society. It truly stuns me when I discover that others don't know the first thing about first aid or CPR. How can couples start a family and not choose to learn infant CPR? To me that just does not compute!

The last time I took a first aid/ cpr course was in 1992 or 1993. I was a dispatcher and we were required to keep our certification current. We have a first aid kit in the house and camper. We also have a first aid kit for pets.
