Anybody ever get these? - I get them afer going through any woods with a lot of deadfall on the ground (scrambling over fallen treels and walking on uneven surfaces)....definitely works a different set of mucscles.

Even with potassium and adequate hydration.....wicked.....wicked.....
.twenty times worse than a calf cramp which you can walk out. Then they go away after a few minutes and no lingering ache or pain (just like a regular leg cramp)

If anyone has had them, they know what I mean. .... any thing work for you? When I get them I have to wind up slapping my inner thighs HARD as that is the only thing that seems to help. The first one I ever got I thought was a blood clot or something but no lingering pain, no inflammation, redness, or swelling.

Usually they come on AFTER the excercise and then when I am laying down and move to get up ... BAM.....but I have had them hit me while I was still walking and also when I was driving.......

Ouch! That sounds like it really hurts. I haven't had my inner thighs cramp up but I have been doing a lot of shoveling lately and have worked normally under used muscles. I have found if I take 10 minutes to stretch I don't lock up in the middle of the night. I have also heard that B12 can help with muscle cramps.

I found out more on, of all places, a mountain bike forum when I googled sartorious muscle cramps

Combination of electrolytes (above and beyond "eat a banana" and lack of conditining - time must be spent on the adductor / abductor machine

I'm a big fan of Emergen-C to balance out my electrolytes. Glad you figured out what it is.
