How many meds do you take daily and what are they for? If you don't know the name, just put "Med #1" and state what it is for.
Here is what I take:
1) Synthetic thyroid . . .for hypothyroidism. Would like to get off it but I had hyperthyroidism and they nuked my thyroid so I don't know what else I can do.
2) I don't take these daily, because I am not in the habit, but I do LIKE to take vitamins.
3) If I need something to help me sleep (around once a month), I take "Inner Balance" which has calcium, magnesium, iron, iodine and manganese in it. It works like a charm.
My doctor TRIES to get me to take all kinds of meds, but I do research and pretty much know what I need and what the risks are for the suggested meds.
A quarter aspirin.
Lutien and A-Palmitate, OTC, heavy doses, for compromised vision.
1-cc Cyanocobalomin every 3 weeks injected, because my digestive system does not process B-12.
My doctor thinks I have high blood pressure, so I take 20mg Diovan twice a week, to keep it around 160/70.
Nothing else, ever, not even pain meds, unless specifically prescribed for a temporary condition.

I'm a 36 YO female:
Bystolic - BP (hoping to get off of when I quit teaching)
Multivitamin
Singulair - allergic reactive airway disease
Savella - Fibromyalgia
Diclofenac - Fibromyalgia
Xanax - as needed for anxiety (also hoping to do without when I quit teaching)
None. Once in a great while, I may take some tylenol for pain, but the pain has to be really uncontrollable for me to go that route.
