Does anyone know of a place where you can bring in eyeglasses frames, and just pay for lenses (without paying an arm and a leg?) It seems the "new" thing at places like Lenscrafters is you can buy lenses only, but it costs much, much less to buy a complete package (lenses and frames.) I think it was close to $400 for progressive lenses, but something like $250 for the same lenses, but with new frames. I've called around and many places seem to have this new ripoff policy.
I don't want new frames. I just want lenses! Any info would be helpful.
