Even though you are saying that your issue is resolved I would recommend you still move out if you still have some weird symptoms like:
- brain fog
- fatigue and dizziness
- congestion and sinusitis
- ear infections, persistent cough
- rash
- memory loss
- painful eye sockets and hair loss
- general feeling of not being well
Few pointers:
- mold is very insidious (it comes gradually and you do not see it)
- certain individuals are more susceptible genetically (i personally developed asthma, but my husband even though he had some symptoms did not) read the 2004 Insitute of Medicine Report on "Damp indoor spaces and health"
Damp Indoor Spaces and Health - Institute of Medicine

- there are basically 2 camps : those who believe in it (in many cases through very painful personal encounter) and those who are in denial (mostly landlords, some lawyers)
- some mold situations are very difficult to eliminate. For example where mold is caused by the excess moisture coming from the slope/hill and the house needs extensive french drainage system which costs thousands dollars.

write me if you have any more questions. I had very traumatic experience with mold .The best advice i can give is move out as soon as possible if you are in the damp mold environment.

Thank you, Magnolia Tree, I appreciate your advice. We do want to move out as soon as the lease is up, but due to financial reasons mostly. I agree that most landlords treat mold issue absurdly lightly, until they discover it in their own living place :-[ Since the repair, we have miraculously recovered and feel much better.

Update from the OP: well, here we go again. Two weeks after repair we started getting sick again. We have all mold poisoning symptoms except nosebleeds. I have never been so sick in my life. My husband agrees since we moved here it was non-stop illness.
I will be going to the doctor to test my lungs for spores presence. I think mold is still present in the house and multiplies rapidly. Our next step will be evaluating mold in the house and breaking the lease. Wish me luck! I just want us to be healthy again.
