I have had this headache since Sat.
I have tried extra strength excedrin, Ibuprofen, and Maxalt for migraines..nothing. I still have it. It is right behind both eyes, just up about an inch or so..I finally gave up today and went to the doctor about it, but he just gave me a pill that is mostly aspirin and caffeine called Butalbital. Not working!!
I ask him if it could be my wisdom teeth, and he said both sides of my head would not be hurting if it was that. He just called it a 'tension headache." Since Sat.?
Take a long hot shower [as hot as youn can stand it] face the water let if hit right on the spot. It will let you relax AND if your sinus's are bothering you it will loosen them up as well. THEN sit back with some calm soothing music with lights off or low and relax.
Do you have any idea what is causing them, figure that out for starters. Could be what you are eating, damaged/inflamed nerves, movement you are doing to aggravate the headache.
I have damaged cranial nerves, that is what causes my migraines. I take a combination of vitamin c (takes down nerve inflammation) and aspirin.

I have tried the massage the temples, and the hot bath. I also tried the cold pack to the head, sex, etc..
Not sure what is causing them..I know recently I went to the doctor for a very sore throat..of course he didn`t give me a reason for it either.
I would get to a doctor asap! A migraine can last for days, but usually caffeine can help tremendously. However, in some cases, doctors can give a shot that helps almost immediately. This time of year it might also be severe allergies. No matter what it is, you need medical attention. Maybe a new doctor?
If you still have it, I would call my doctor or go to a walk-in clinic. This is how some serious conditions start.

Yes, I called him back first thing this morning, and told the office that they are going to have to call me in something diffrent...what he gave me is not working...
He called in something diffrent, so hopefully this will help!
It eased up when I first got out of bed...seemed like it was almost gone, but its baaacckkk!!! Thanks all!
If this does not work, I will be going to a diffrent doctor.

I hope you get this resolved today. You probably know this but if it is a migraine, get in a dark room. Your eyes probably hurt. Feel better!
