I don't normally wear it as I don't go to the beach and HATE hot weather. But I guess I still need something.
What's a good one? I'm black but not dark, like, Will Smith tone lol. I don't know if that matters but there you go.
I've looked stuff up. Apparently there is some stuff saying normal none "natural" sunscreen haw cancer causing chemicals. Course I've read that said about tooth paste, mouthwash, anti perspirant, everything.
Who knows how much truth there is to any of it. But, I am not going to risk it. So, I go for the sunscreens with the highest ratings which aren't the ones you find in convenient places! Here is the guide and you want the lowest numbers. I know if anything, my skin has become less irritated by their recommendations. I really love California Baby. Yea but I've read the natural stuff is questionable in regards to how much protection they provide and they rub off on EVERYTHING.
I like natural but I prefer effective.
That website lists that as well as the FDA released new standards today. I know far too many people who have had Melanoma not to be cautious. If you are not comfortable with lotions and sprays, wear long sleeve shirts and big hats. That is a bit more effective regardless. Not exactly super comfortable but cancer isn't either.

Any truth to this? What's a recommendation?
I like Neutrogena Sunblock Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 70 or higher because it provides good protection & isn't sticky.

+1
My dermatologist recommended the Neutrogena and it is the only one which hasn't caused my face to break out.
Wear a big hat and try to avoid sun exposure between 10am and 4pm when the rays are the most powerful. I prefer wearing the sunblock clothing instead of putting sunscreen on all over. We still need vitamin D so I try to get some sun exposure (very limited) before applying sun screen.

I have solar nails and it took the shine off my nails
