I think I was on the pain meds as perscribed for the first 3 days then started reducing the dosage. in one week I was down to 1 at night. After that, if it felt uncomfortable, I'd take a half. Advil's worked great for me.

Hi I have yellow toes post op bunion surgery and I assume it's staining from the use of Betadine as preop skin disinfection?

This is a very old thread, but might bear reviving. I still have not done anything about the bunions. I have back, knee and bunion issues, and it seems like the first two always take precedence.

Today, I'm getting an epidural in the back, next week, cortisone in the knees. Who knows? Next year could be the bunion year.
