I've got acne for 3 years. But since using the right cleanser with coconut oil daily, my acne condition has improved a lot. If you've used many acne treatment methods but they still don't work, try using coconut oil. I wish you to treat your acne successfully!

Clean up the diet.

No chemicals/junk food.
No dairy.
No sugar.
NO SODA.

Try it minimum for a month.

It's the diet. Derms will always claim diet has nothing to do with it because if they admit that ... they will be out of business.

I believe it is NOT the diet but it seems to be hereditary .

I have known doctor's kids with severe acne.

I also agree, it's not 100% diet. It's more hereditary. I started having acne at 12. I'm now 42 and get breakouts. My daughter is almost 11 and has been breaking out for over a year. I just purchased her Proactive and so far it's working great! I have even used it too and it has also helped me.

Doctor's don't believe that diet is the culprit yet diet affects our ENTIRE LIFE. Garbage in garbage out.

Cut the garbage out, see the difference. It's a nonprescription/non pop a pill fix that most do not want to commit to. Doctor's kids with severe acne tells you all you need to know. Diet, what you eat = better health.

Or just eat garbage and live with the acne, your choice, really. For those who try it, it always makes a difference. No sugar. No soda. No dairy. No chemical/processed food.

Update= Fast forward 5 years.
Over the last year her Acne has disappeared completely. not sure what caused her condition to clear up but a couple of lifestyle changes that may have been contributing factors were moving out of the house into her own apartment. Cleaning up her act on a dietary level, and getting a good job. So i'm now wondering if her Acne problem was caused by emotional issues or if she just outgrew an Acne phase in her life.

My daughters acne seems to flare up when she eats/drinks dairy so we try to stay away from it.

My daughter noticed a marked improvement when she gave up all dairy products.

Diet soda is a HUGE culprit. If you drink it/have acne, give up the diet soda and you will see improvement almost immediately.

It always amazes me that people still believe diet has zero to do with health.
