Apparently, I am not getting the emails for this I signed up for. I thought I'd check here to see what was going on and now found replies. There are numerous of topics relating to eating soy and coffee here, as well as what I found on the web too. Thanks for all of your replies.

There are so many, many products that have soy in the ingredients. What is the reasons behind not to eat soy-based products. I do wait 30-1 hour before I eat my breakfast when I take the med in the am.

There are so many, many products with corn in em too, guarantee it try to find something in the grocery that does not have some trace of corn in it. Did yall see the King Corn documentary?

Truth is, our food production industry has been hijacked... when I go to the store I buy:

raw fruits and veggies
fresh meat

and i buy only enough to last a few days

i use glass to fill my water bottles and i dont buy bottled water anymore

with all the hoopla regarding the effects that soy has on hormone imbalances... i stay away and this is why i recommend to you as well..

That is good, but I don't eat meat and rely on soy products a lot for my protein since I'm a vegetarian. I do eat bean, so that is my other source of protein besides eggs and dairy products.

Umm I would just suggest watching the King Corn documentary some interesting tidbits I took away were that...

the corn industry is crazy huge, and that if someone were to poison the land in Iowa basically a lot of food and items would not be available anymore and probably the health of the nation would go up...that corn is in everything, and that our bodies do not get rid of it very well (at least the corn they grow) ... the guys grow some corn and taste it but it is disgusting, it is only used for processing into other chemicals for use in food...

as far as bottled water i watch a different documentary (i have seen a couple) regarding the environmental impact but more importantly to the individual the BPA and effects of plastic on hormone levels etc...

you can buy big glass bottles of water for 2-3 dollars at the store and just keep refilling them, i tested my water at home and was goin to buy a filter if there were any problems, but there were none..

good luck!
