A gene that controls how long we sleep has been discovered by scientists explaining why some people have their own internal alarm clock.
Scientists identified a gene called ABCC9 that can reduce the length of time we sleep. The same gene has previously been linked to heart disease and diabetes.
four hours sleep? Heck, to the no. I'd be one raging ***** ( more than normal, that is) if all I got was four hours sleep! I have to get at least 8 hours of good sleep everynight or I just have a hard time functioning on a daily basis and since I work in the medical field, I make sure I'm well rested everyday.
I normally sleep in 2 hour intervals. If I sleep 4 hours straight through, I am amazed.
