I had the upper endoscopy today and there was no problem. but i have a question, why did they put an oxygen mask on me after they injected me with the first shot (the second one was the anesthesia which put me out)?
was it because i told them i believed i had sleep apnea (I have a sleep study in August) or it's just standard procedure? does the first shot deplete you of oxygen? how does it work?
i freaked out a bit when they put the oxygen tube in my nose because it reminded me of my folks when they were dying and i never had this done before, and i had thoughts of if the tube weren't in there would i die right there
all i can say is i went out like a light after the shot...
