I could feel something in my liver after I took pills containing acetaminophen. I only took it a few times for headaches, but I heard it can cause liver damage. I took it as instructed though so why could I actually feel my liver afterwards? Maybe it was digesting it or whatever, and it wasn't painful, but just weird. Anyone have anything like that? What could it be?
Huh? I couldn't feel someting in my liver I don't think...
In fariness, I have quit taking Tylenol for every little thing these past few years....because I did start to suspect that it does cause more damage than previously thought.
I've only known one person that had tylenol caused liver damage - a kid that took a whole bottle of it when I was in the Marine Corps in some sort of suicide attempt.
ts best to take acetominiphen with food to slow down its passaage through the liver.
this is false. acetaminophen can be perfectly safely either on an empty stomach, or with food, and taking it with food has nothing to do with its passage through the liver.
If you're concerned about your liver then stay away from over the counter meds and prescription meds and go to your local health food store and get some dandelion or milk thistle to support your liver.
