My company is supposed to pay for my medical coverage when I relocate to the states. They have provided me with a list of approved drugs, which the medical company will cover. I am concerned for two reasons. the first is they claim they can only get a co-pay plan and secondly I am not familar with the drug names in the US. At present I use a reliever and a preventer. I would be grateful if someone who has Asthma from the UK could tell me the equivalent drugs they use in the US. for example what is the US version of Ventilin ( salbutamol inhalers).
I really appreciate any feedback as this is a real concern.
I am going to move this thread over to the Health and Wellness forum where it will get more responses. JayCT, Moderator
