it's hard to breathe from one nostril every day for years for as long as I remember, it also depends on what side I have my head on the pillow so when I wake up, it might be the other nostril I can't breathe from, no matter what it's always at least 1 nostril, it affects how I sound, regular nasal spray doesn't get rid of it, only once I tried something many years ago I forgot what it was but it was a nasal spray that smelled like flowers. What I have I always have no matter what the weather is like and it's not allergies.

Sounds like a deviated septum. I have that. If I sniff hard, you can see only the left nostril contract and flare back out again. The right one just kinda stays where it is.
I use Breathe-Right strips at night, makes a HUGE difference. I wish I could wear them all day too, it's amazing how much breathing you don't do, and don't even realize you're missing out on

Flonase is the nasal spray that smells like flowers I have several bottles of the stuff LOL. You may have allergic rhinitis or non allerigic rhinitis. Look it up there is tons of information. I have the allergic one.

I will try it. I always sleep with a fan in front of my face the entire night to help me breathe better. It also helps my face keep cool which is what I like too.
Don't rule out the rhinitis possibility though. But I'd definitely start with the cheapest, least invasive option first. If the breathe-right strips do the trick, there'd be no need to take meds. Breathe-Right are just sort of - spring-loaded bandaids. You lay them down in the middle of the bridge of your nose, then press the sides down to the sides of your nostrils. The "stays" sandwiched between the adhesive and the outer layer force your nostrils open. That's all they do, and for folks like me, that's all they need to do. If they don't work, I'd recommend a trip to the local ENT doctor to give you an actual diagnosis before trying any medications.

This could actually be making your problem worse because the air flow is drying out you sinuses!
See an ENT specialist for the proper diagnosis and some relief
