You may still be a little wacky because of coming off the pill. 28 days is average...anything else is still "normal" depending on the person. Before my first child, I was as regular as could be. Afterwards, anywhere between 4-6 weeks was Normal for me. The BCP acts a little like a pregnancy.

Don't waste you money on a test unless you plan on having an abortion if it's positive. If you really are pregnant, you'll know it soon.

Ok, what do you mean by that exactly? I've never been preggars so I have no idea what my body "is telling me"!! I would freak out if I was one of those girls that popped a baby out and didn't even know she was pregnant! Yikes!

Thanks everybody for your input. I really appreciate it. Like I said, I'll weigh it out a little while longer and see ... it prob is just due to stress. Thanks again!

Some people are not "regular" in any way. I am one of them. Being the stress junkie that I am probably has something to do with it. Sometimes I get mine every 10 days, and then I will go for a few months without. Spring for the first Response test kit, it will give you the earliest reading.

Thanks Evey - Actually, before I went on the Pill (pre-1999) I was pretty irregular, too, so maybe my cycle is just going back to its "old ways". Good point!

Figure out the time that would be the latest possible time. If you haven't come by then, start noticing if you breasts are getting unusually swollen. Your tummy will start to look bigger too unless you are very overweight. Probably a little morning sickness.

If you haven't had a period for about 3weeks after that last possible time, you probably are. make an appointment with a doctor.

Don't worry, those women that pop out a baby and say they didn't know they were pregnant are 1. fat, 2. foolishly stupid, 3. in deep denial and lying about the whole thing.

foma, have you called your doctor? That's the first thing I would do. If you've taken the pg test and neg, there could be another medical reason for this. I would want to know right a way either way if it were me and I think your doctor would be the best bet.

I took a test today and still negative.

Now I'm a little freaked. It's on almost 3 wks now.

Up next: doctor's appointment. I'm 6 months late on my yearly exam anyway so I guess I should just do it all at once, huh? Stop shaking your head at me people! I hate finding new doctors (we just moved to a new state 9 months ago). Blech.
