My husband hates dentist's period, he has the dentist prescribe Valium whenever he has to go see the dentist (even for a cleaning) lol. I don't mind needles although I am kind of nervous when I have to get novocaine at the dentist...that does hurt...but in the arm I don't mind..I used to give blood all the time and I got used to it after a while...although you can tell the nurses that don't have a lot of practice and they do hurt a little, but if they know what they are doing, it's not supposed to hurt. I probably wouldn't mind the patch for my son because I hate to see someone else in pain especially him, so that wouldn't be a bad idea as long as there no further side effects than the shot version of course.

I don't mind shots, however, I'm not overly fond of getting blood draws (much larger needle to enter the vein).

I have to inject insulin every day and it simply does not hurt--at all--honest!!

me too. which is, by the way, another reason i am scared to death of bees (especially hornets and yellow jackets!) to me, hornets and yellow jackets are nothing more than "flying needles!"

flying needles. lol. now that was good.

the only reason why i don't like yellow jackets and hornets is because they hurt a long time after. now a snake bite is almost painless if not entirely so. just depends upon whether it is poisonous or not how bad the bite becomes. i don't mind needles or drawing blood. i have often watched.
