I been having stomach issues, I was sent to see some new gastro and he dismissed it as IBS because of my past history. I have had a colonoscopy 5 years ago, endoscopy 2 times, MRI of al the organs in my abdominal area 2 seperate times, ultra sounds etc.. but the last test was about a year or two ago.

My stomach feels bloated sometimes where I cant bend, or it feels numb inside if that makes sense and has spasms. Sometimes I swear I can feel it. Maybe it's not my stomach but on the upper right side.

I been losing weight and I eat a lot of food and junky food but it's gotten to the point my pants are flling down. My daughter tugged on my jeans yesterday and she almost pulled them down!

I don't know what else to do. I had numerous blood tests in the past 2 years as well. What should I do next to get someone to pay attention that I am having stomach problems and now weight loss.

Get rid of the junk food. Write down what you eat and you may be able to find out if it's something specific triggering the problem.

My Mother had serious issues with her GI also, they did MRI's colonoscopies, endoscopies... (also had blood tests for cancer) nothing was able to isolate it until they imaged her middle GI by Capsule Endoscopy. They found small hemorrhages in her middle intestine. She has lost weight gradually for months, going from a healthy 120 down to 109.

She had awful gas pains, and spasms and bloat like you mention.

Her blood loss was so great she became iron deficient/anemic and had to have a blood transfusion in February. She's had iron infusions and vitamin B shots all year to replenish her blood.

I don't know if you were ever taking Plavix or other drugs in that category but that drug was pulled from the market because long time use caused GI issues.

Check that out with your doctor.

Her health has improved since discovering what her problems are. She's trying to recover her weight by having protein shakes now.

It sounds like the weight loss and cramping started occuring after you saw the Gastro. I woulod suggest that you return and expalin your new symptoms. Or see another Doc for a 2nd opinion.
