Hello, I have been reading a lot about health hazards of non-stick cookware & was looking into some alternatives. Please share some suggestions about the type of cookware that is safe (in terms of health) & where do I find them. I live in a small town & its always a struggle to find anything here so I would probably have to travel to a bigger city to find an organic store that sells such cookware.
What materials should I avoid or prefer? Which stores (walmart, target, organic stores??) are most likely to carry them?
I am still trying to educate myself about it & I value any helpful suggestions.

Cast iron skillet. A maintained one that is cured is like a non-stick pan anyway!
