Yesterday, I accidentally looked into a very bright light. Basically I was working near a stage light and it was turned on without warning.

Since then, I've had pain in my left eye. However, I've noticed absolutely no change in my vision, it seems fine. Will this go away on its own or could it be a sign of something serious?

It's probably nothing, OP - but you might try a little bottle of artificial tears and use a drop of it. You could even probably get it from your eye doctor just by walking in and asking the receptionist if they have any samples.

If you still have this pain, I would suggest seeing an Opthamologist. You may have damaged the retina. It could be minor, but you do not know.
