I'm 55 and have been to a dr 3 times in the last 30 yrs. Twice for a severe cold, and once to get my ear checked for earache.
I dont eat particularly well (only eat once a day normally, smoke, don't workout but do go for walks with my dogs. Bp is 118/68 (just taken last week for life insurance), not on any meds except the occasional melatonin for sleep or ibuprofen. Went thru stressful last 2 yrs with unexpected death of brother, then unexpected acute kidney failure of mom and brought her home into hospice and her death.
I wouldn't say frequent medical issues are normal.

Statistics show exactly this — that women live longer than men, but at the same time have more health problems than men even though they have healthier lifestyles. So, women live longer with more health issues, while men live shorter lives with fewer health problems. Sorry, that’s just the way it is.

Autoimmune disease, for example, affects women significantly more than men. Also, it goes without saying that having children puts a lot more stress on women’s bodies than on men’s. Few women die in childbirth any more, but many do have their bodies permanently injured in some way.
